Janet Miller Wiseman is one of the longest established divorce and family mediators in Massachusetts. When in 1979 she founded The Negotiation Collaborative, she helped to co-spearhead a shift from adversarial negotiation in Massachusetts divorce to a much more usual expectation of cooperative settlement of disputes through mediation and negotiation. Janet co-founded the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation in 1982 and was President for two years.
